Spring Break Training Family Trip

This optional trip is an opportunity for the team to start their Spring season by training twice a day in a world-class rowing facility during Saline’s Spring Break. It’s also a lot of fun both for rowers and for families. Between practices, the rowers get an opportunity to bond with teammates and to spend time with their families in the walkable Lakewood Ranch area of Sarasota. Many families take advantage of the greater Sarasota activities and beaches, too.

A block of rooms is available for us at Homewood Suites Sarasota Lakewood Ranch, the hotel adjacent to the rowing facility. Families will still make their own reservations.

Sunday, March 26
5:00pm – Courtyard Sarasota University Park/Lakewood Ranch Area – Team and parent meeting

M-F practices at 9:00am-10:30am and 2:00pm-3:30pm. Rowers should arrive 30 minutes early.

No practice Wednesday or Friday afternoon. 

Wednesday PM family activity – TBA

Thursday evening – Team cookout dinner at the Homewood Suites hotel. Details to follow!

March 27 – April 1, 2023

January 18, 2023 – Deposit Deadline (50% of fee)
February, 2023 – Last day to make hotel reservations from team block
March 1, 2023 – Fee balance due
